I've spent much of the day being entertained by this column ostensibly about fantasy baseball, provided by the inimitable McSweeney's Internet Tendency.

Non-baseball fans may find it amusing as well, though not as much.

Why not give your significant other a few picks?

Ignore their claims of "I know nothing about baseball" and "Please, leave me alone." Giving them a few draft picks here and there to do as they please with will pay dividends immediately by promoting a sense of closeness and trust, two of the most important aspects of any relationship.

*laughs her head off* He'd just smile and nod and attempt to do it to help me (assuming I did fantasy baseball) but it's so totally not his thing, he'd be doing it to be nice to me. And then I'd owe him a couple of rounds of unloading the dishwasher or something. ;)
