If you're making a movie about Vietnam, it's a federal requirement to set a montage to "For What It's Worth". The song really has no meaning of its own anymore.

I don't think "Man on the Moon" is a particularly good R.E.M. song, but it's got good harmonies.

Is System of a Down serious? Their music is so emphatic that I don't know if they're really that passionate, or are being ironic.

And yes, "Turning Japanese", which I enjoy despite its hint of low-grade racism.
