(no subject)

I've just finished a draft of a short piece for wavyarms, for SSAA chorus + bass drum. Hopefully, once she returns from Europe, she'll give me feedback on its feasibility ASAP.

I consider it a part of what I plan to be a larger work titled Minority Opinion.

The movement is named Cocktail, its text from Abbie Hoffman's Steal this Book:

Fill a thin-walled bottle half-full with gasoline. Break up a section of Styrofoam. Let it sit in the gasoline for a few days.

The mixture should be slushy and almost fill the bottle. The Styrofoam spreads the flames around and regulates the burning. The mixture has nearly the same properties as napalm.

It seems ironic that I'll need to procure permission to use the text, given its source.
