...I also recently saw on some parenting sex ed blog thing, that it you want to be truly accurate, one might consider teaching kids that the female equivalent to the penis (inasmuch as there is one, since various functions are more differentiated in females) is not the vagina, but the clitoris. I haven't figured out how we'll approach this ourselves yet, so far be it for me to give advice, but food for thought.
